Sunday Special Sunflowers

I’ve been fascinated with the Ttv effect and look. Wildstorm, at Backroads Photoblog, has been posting some wonderful Ttv pictures and also a tutorial on how she does Ttv. I decided to make my own mask with framing for a type of Ttv effect. Using a photo of cracked painted wood, I masked/layered/merged it with the photo of the sunflowers. I used a combination of sepia and black & white along with some added texture. With the bottom photo, I added a lighted window effect in the middle. What I like about Ttv is the old-time texture feel and dark jagged framing. I’m just experimenting and will continue to play with various effects and toning in sepia, early black & white and color tinted in of a type of Ttv.
