Country Stone Outbuilding Mosaic

I’ve worked with laying mosaic tile and grouting thereby creating and designing various mosaics for the past few years. Some of my mosaics can be viewed at my Mosaics page at Surface & Surface Photography. Now, I am learning a new way with mosaic that is digital.
This is my first digital mosaic project using a photograph of mine of a country stone outbuilding in a field. The tile is more of a crazy tile design leaning into the abstract. It takes time, thought & consideration, and patience to lay digital mosaic tile, and can prove fascinating results. I plan to create more digital mosaics via my photographs and through my own design. The program I use is Corel Painter 11.

Hi YB. The image is almost twice as many pixels as the original photo at 286.98 KB (293870 bytes) probably because of the added artwork details. Most of the images here are at half that, so it is a big load. Perhaps it is too much of a load for your internet or server? It is loading fine for me. Sorry about that.
